This guitar offers a lot of bang for your buck – give me a well-made vintage acoustic over a new guitar at a similar price point any day. The detailing is very well-executed with fine mother of pearl bands around the top edge and sound hole. The build quality and attention to detail is very good indeed – Japanese guitars from this era can be superb and outclass their American counterparts. Tonally this one’s all you’d hope for from a good vintage acoustic with quality woods that have had several decades to mature. Featuring Andean Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top and a Rosewood fretboard, this guitar quietly whispers ‘quality’. It sounds superb with a full rich tone and plenty of sustain.
